What is a condensing boiler?

A condensing boiler is designed to capture the heat from the exhaust gases that would typically be lost in traditional systems. This is achieved through a process called condensation, where the flue gases cool down and the moisture within them condenses back into liquid water. This condensation process releases latent heat, which is then utilized to preheat the water entering the boiler or for space heating, significantly improving the energy efficiency of the system.

The ability to recover heat from the exhaust makes condensing boilers particularly effective and eco-friendly, as they require less fuel to achieve the same heating output compared to conventional boilers.
